Quilled Rakhis
Hi Friends, Rakshabandhan festival is on 2nd August 2012. This festival is celebrated mainly in India. On this festival, sister tie a rakhi (thread) on her brother's wrist. This symbolizes the sister's love and prayers for her brother's well-being, and the brother's lifelong vow to protect her. Below are the quilled rakhis made by me. For order email me at vohra.aditi@gmail.com. Will be uploading more rakhi pics soon... Happy Crafting! Thanks and Love, Aditi
Upcycled Bottle cover and pencils into mix media Vase
Namaste friends, Welcome you all to my blog. We are shifting to new house and while cleaning up I got so many color pencils which were duplicate or my kids were not using. So I decided to upcycle it and I used a liquor bottle cover to stick these pencils on. I hope you like my project and get inspired to create something and share. Entering this to mix media academy challenge Happy Crafting!! Aditi
