Dream : Wall Decor I Mixed Media Panel

Namaste friends,

 Recently, my husband underwent a major surgery but by god's grace he is doing fine now and recovering. Our lives are like, anything can happen anytime. We have to be prepared for anything. All these things were going on my mind. As this month is all about love and I do dream about being with him forever. So thinking about him I made this panel.

Quilled Rakhis

Hi Friends, Rakshabandhan festival is on 2nd August 2012. This festival is celebrated mainly in India. On this festival, sister tie a rakhi (thread) on her brother's wrist.   This symbolizes the sister's love and prayers for her brother's well-being, and the brother's lifelong vow to protect her.  Below are the quilled rakhis made by me.
