Quilled Rakhis

Hi Friends, Rakshabandhan festival is on 2nd August 2012. This festival is celebrated mainly in India. On this festival, sister tie a rakhi (thread) on her brother's wrist. This symbolizes the sister's love and prayers for her brother's well-being, and the brother's lifelong vow to protect her. Below are the quilled rakhis made by me. PaperCraftwithAditi: I am Aditi Vohra from Pune. I am an engineer by qualification but crafting gives me immense peace. I started my crafting journey 7 yrs back with quilling. I am a self learnt crafter. Gradually, I learnt many techniques which interested me like scrapbooking, stamping, embossing, made albums, special fold cards, jewellery, mixed media and decoupage, mix media. I love decoupage as you can recycle/upcycle everything using this technique. I take workshops also.
